Hoyne Elementary School recently celebrated being named a recognized Spotlight School by the State of Illinois, recognizing its commitment to academic excellence and citizenship. The campus, a Fine and Performing Arts Magnet Cluster School, continues to receive accolades from families for its rigorous, private school-like environment and commitment to student achievement in attendance and scholarship. Faculty remain focused on individualized reading programs and hands-on math resources to prepare scholars in the Calumet Heights neighborhood for future success.

Ans. For sure, they can totally bring one, but they just have to make sure their name is on it.

Ans. Yeah, the history teacher honestly runs a super fun debate club every Thursday for the middle school students.

Q4. Are kids allowed to bring scooters to class at Hoyne Elem School?
Ans. Nope, they are honestly a huge safety hazard in the busy hallways, so scooters are totally banned here.
Q5. Do they have a lost and found for glasses at Hoyne Elem School?
Ans. Yeah, there is totally a small basket right by the nurse's office filled with forgotten prescription glasses.
