In the historic Austin neighborhood, the school continues to emphasize data-informed instruction and a culturally responsive curriculum focusing on the arts, social-emotional learning and wellness. Recently, Principal Latrese Mathis and staff were recognized for their dedication to providing a safe, connected and joyful environment for all learners.

Ans. Nope, for safety reasons we honestly do not allow any visitors out on the playground during school hours.
Q2. Do they have a fun field day at the end of the year at Hay Elem Community Academy?
Ans. Yeah, the gym teachers totally set up amazing obstacle courses and water games for Their every June.
Q3. Is there a designated drop-off zone for late students at Hay Elem Community Academy?
Ans. For sure, just park in the front circle and walk them directly into the main office to sign in.
Q4. How do we find out what is on the lunch menu at Hay Elem Community Academy?
Ans. Honestly, they post the entire monthly menu right on the front page of the official school website now.
Q5. Are kids allowed to bring their own jump ropes from home to Hay Elem Community Academy?
Ans. Yeah, they can totally bring them, but they are responsible if they get lost or broken during recess.
