Gallistel Elementary Language Academy recently highlighted its specialized Spanish and French programs in celebration of its commitment to global citizenship. The school community continues to embrace the Purple Pride positive behaviour framework, which has resulted in high levels of student engagement and a respectful learning environment. Families also recently came together for a series of student-centered cultural showcases that included the literary and visual arts.
Q1. What language programs do you offer?
Ans. We feature intensive language tracks that are totally focused on developing bi-literacy and a deep appreciation for culture.
Q2. Do you have after-school language clubs?
Ans. Yes! We run really fun language exploration circles where kids practice speaking and learn all about global traditions.
Q3. How do you support parents who speak other languages?
Ans. We honestly make sure to translate all critical notices and provide certified bilingual interpreters for every single family meeting.
Q4. How is global culture taught in social studies?
Ans. Our students create amazing annual history portfolios that map out international geography and explore social evolution around the world.
Q5. Do you have books in different languages in the library?
Ans. We sure do! Our media center is constantly updating its huge inventory with fantastic new multilingual literature selections.
