Esmond Elementary School recently held a successful “International Night” in which students and families celebrated the many cultural heritages of the community through music, dance and food. The school was also recognized for its commitment to sustainability by launching a new student-led composting initiative in the green schoolyard. Kudos were given to faculty for implementing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, as students are more engaged in critical thinking and inquiry-based learning.
