Dawes Elementary School held a successful annual math night on Pi Day with the Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival which drew over 200 attendees. The school community also advocated actively for its continued operation, remaining open successfully as the school board moved toward a revised two-school closure plan. Dawes also continues to acknowledge student successes, most recently the recipients of the Justin Wynn Award.
