Being Updated
Walter S. Christopher Elementary School renovated their sensory room for the 2025–2026 school year. The new space includes sensory tools and calming materials to help students with classroom learning activities. The project was created to assist students in increasing focus, participation and comfort throughout the school day. The school has put a focus on creating a supportive environment for students, and teachers and staff said they’ve seen positive classroom engagement since the new learning space was introduced.
