Ronald Brown Elementary Community Academy recently opened a new “Space to Grow” schoolyard to support outdoor learning and community use. New play spaces, learning areas and environmentally friendly features to help manage stormwater for the neighbourhood are included in the new campus area. Students and families gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new addition to the school campus. School leaders said the project helps students with activities, being outside and getting the community involved during the school year.
