In 2026, Betty Shabazz Academy had many student and teacher accomplishments in academic, cultural and leadership activities across the campus. Teacher Precious Allen won the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching for her impact on student learning and support in the classroom. The annual spelling bee also saw the recognition of students who participated in performing arts programmes, spirit competitions and leadership based activities during the academic year. The school also continued its tradition of providing hands-on learning experiences and community projects that fostered teamwork, cultural awareness and student participation throughout the year.
