In 2026 Jean Baptiste Beaubien Elementary School continued celebrating success of students in academics, STEM activities and community events. The IJAS State STEM Fair gave students a chance to receive recognition for their work. Several students received Gold medals and special awards for their science projects in chemistry and biochemistry. The school also celebrated its success in the Spring 2026 Stock Market Game competition, in which student teams were awarded top honours for the performance of their investment portfolios. Much of the year, students worked on creative projects for the school’s student-run literary magazine that featured writing and artwork from students in every grade level. The school also held on-campus events throughout the year, including the annual Spring Fling fundraiser, a preschool open house and school-wide celebrations that included students and families.
