The robotics team at Newton Bateman Elementary School got one of its highest scores in the 2026 First Lego League regional contest. During the competition season, students were engaged in team projects, problem-solving activities and robotics challenges. “It gave the kids a chance to use their technology and engineering skills in a competitive learning environment.” After school, students took part in group activities and study sessions led by teachers and mentors.
