In 2026, Perkins Bass Elementary School hosted its yearly Family S.T.E.A.M. Night. Students and families participated in hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The campus was designed as a series of learning stations so students could stay late and work in groups or on creative projects. Teachers and staff promoted family involvement and collaboration through classroom activities.
