In 2026, John Barry Elementary School held a “Dance of the Decade” to celebrate the school’s 100th anniversary. Students from different grades performed and participated in activities. Families, teachers and community members came to campus to celebrate and support the students. It provided students with the chance to participate in school programs and dancing outside the regular classroom setting. Throughout the day, staff helped in organising performances, and the atmosphere at the school was lively and fun. The event also highlighted the school’s close ties with the local community.
