Acero Chtr Netrk - Major Garcia opened its 2025-26 basketball season with games against Back of the Yards College Prep in January, giving student-athletes more opportunities to compete and work together. The families and educators from the Acero network have continued their advocacy efforts this year with teachers and parents speaking at Chicago Board of Education meetings advocating for long-term stability for their school communities. The campus remains focused on college readiness, keeping a graduation rate that ranks in the top 10% in Illinois.
