Acero Charter School - Officer Donald J. Marquez Campus recently got noticed for its strong student progress indicators, with reports showing 86% of former 9th graders were on track to graduate high school. The campus also launched its “Bilingual Brillante” program in partnership with the University of Illinois at Chicago for the 2025-2026 school year to develop literacy skills in both English and Spanish. The program is still in line with the school’s emphasis on bilingual education and long-term academic growth.
