Director Nick Elder led a week-long career education program as part of the Education for Employment System 330’s recent push to expand vocational outreach. University of Illinois leaders, Parkland division administrators and local high school principals joined forces to improve student access to workforce training. The program aimed to expand opportunities for vocational education and to build better pathways into skilled careers and technical industries.
