Families of Sheridan Elem School were included in District 87’s update on Kindergarten Open House for the 2026–27 school year. The event was scheduled for April 28, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., providing incoming kindergarten students and parents an opportunity to visit their assigned elementary school, meet teachers, obtain enrollment information and ask questions before the new school year. Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before September 1, 2026. The update provides new Sheridan families with a helpful early step into school life.
