The Safe School Program recently instituted a new student device policy to help reduce classroom disruptions and behavioral incidents during the academic day. The new guidelines mandate students to keep all personal smartphones, smartwatches and wireless earbuds powered off and put away during school hours. The policy is part of a continuing effort to enhance classroom focus, student engagement and overall learning environments throughout the program.
