Belleville West and Belleville High School-East hosted the Greater St. Louis Marching Band Festival together in honor of the Belleville East marching band program’s 100th anniversary. The “Marching Lancers” recently received Grand Champion and first in their class at the Sullivan Marching Festival, and Grand Champion at the Metro East Marching Classic. The school’s music department continues its busy schedule with major events such as the “River City Showcase,” and student athletes are preparing for upcoming seasonal competitions in football and baseball.
