The new "Skills for Success" course at East High School in Aurora, Illinois, is getting a lot of attention. It will start in the 2025–2026 school year and is meant to help students improve their critical thinking, communication, and career readiness. The school has also worked with the Aurora Fire Museum and Kids Matter to teach students important life skills like CPR and first aid for mental health issues. East High School has also set up an International Newcomer Center to help students who are new to the US.

Ans. East High School prepares students for success after high school by focusing on strong STEM programs, arts integration, and career-focused classes.
Q2. Are there advanced classes for students?
Ans. Yes, students can take Advanced Placement (AP) and honors classes in more than one subject.
Q3. Does East High School give students the chance to take standardized tests?
Ans. Yes, East High School gives the SAT and ACT tests to get students ready for college.
Q4. What kinds of activities do students do outside of school?
Ans. Students join clubs, sports teams, and performing arts programs that help them learn how to be leaders and work together.
Q5. How does East High School help students grow?
Ans. The school helps students do well by offering mentorship programs, tutoring, and academic workshops.
