Lincoln Elementary School has had a successful expansion of its visual arts track this semester. Students got to design their own banners to decorate the halls. The school community had an energetic spring field day with positive teamwork, sportsmanship and physical health goals. Families continue to have great confidence in the commitment of the teaching staff to core literacy.
Q1. Are all students who come to Lincoln Elem School every day required to wear a specific school uniform?
Ans. Student Attire is not mandatory but students are expected to maintain strict adherence to the parameters of the district dress code.
Q2. What is the protocol for a family to report an unexpected student absence at Lincoln Elem School?
Ans. Parents should call the school attendance line before 8:30 a.m. the day of absence.
Q3. What does Lincoln Elem School do for outdoor recess when the winter wind chill gets very low?
Ans. Students will stay in classroom spaces for supervised quiet activities if wind chill reaches freezing safety limits.
Q4. Does Lincoln Elem School have targeted support structures for English as a New Language?
Ans. Complete push-in and pull-out language acquisition modules tailored for the specific needs of students.
Q5. Where within Lincoln Elem School is the official designated lost and found center located?
Ans. Student property such as jackets, lunch boxes and caps left in the wrong place are kept in the bin near the main entry office.
