Latest News

Recently, students at Lincoln Elementary had a great surprise. Thanks to a community initiative, every fourth grader got to choose five free books of their choice during a special event. As kids looked through the shelves and picked out their books, you could feel the excitement in the library. A lot of people were happy to go home with books they picked out themselves, which is something they don't get to do very often. School staff called the moment "magic" and said that letting kids own books helps them develop a love of reading and makes them want to learn more.
