Being Updated
Recent news says that the new adaptive playground at Harrison Elementary is a big improvement. It will make recess and playtime available to all students, even those who have trouble moving around. The new playground has rubberized floors, ramps, swings that are safe, and paths that are easy for kids in wheelchairs or with walkers to get to so they can play with their friends. The school and community recently held a ceremony to cut the ribbon and celebrate the opening.
