Recently, Washington Elementary School in Pocatello held its "Wellness and Wonder Week." This was a school-wide event that focused on promoting physical activity, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning. Every day, kids did fun things like yoga, outdoor movement challenges, mindfulness exercises, and creative projects that helped them grow emotionally and express themselves. All week, teachers saw that their students were more excited, worked together better, and acted better.
