Hawthorne Elementary School was in the news recently because it was part of a statewide effort to encourage students to live healthier lives. Delta Dental of Idaho runs a health grant program that gave the school new water stations and refillable water bottles. The goal of this change is to get students and staff to choose water over sugary drinks, which will help them stay hydrated, keep their mouths clean, and stay healthy overall.
