Being Updated
Fox Hollow Elementary School recently got a lot of attention from the community for a heartwarming and creative project: students spent the whole school year folding over 1,000 paper lanterns. The school then put these lanterns up all over the building to honor local veterans.
School leaders said that the project was more than just an art project. It was a way for kids to learn about the history of their community, understand the sacrifices made by people in the past, and make a positive difference in their community.
Q1. Does Fox Hollow include activities outside?
Ans. There are structured outdoor lessons and breaks during the school day.
Q2. What help is there for people who are just learning English?
Ans. Language development help helps students get used to things.
Q3. Do students learn how to be good digital citizens?
Ans. Yes, lessons include how to use technology safely.
Q4. Do parent groups do anything?
Ans. Families can join groups that help schools or planning committees.
Q5. Does the school have days when students learn about a certain topic?
Ans. Sometimes teachers plan enrichment events that are focused on a specific subject.
