Skyway Elementary recently got a $25,000 grant from the Coeur d'Alene Rotary Club through the EXCEL Foundation. This money will make their playground area really special.
The school plans to use this money to build a new playground with a meditation area, a "friendship circle" to help kids learn social-emotional skills and how to solve problems, and even a big map of the United States to get kids interested in geography and the world around them.
