The "Harvest Learning Festival" at Notus Elementary School was a big success. It brought the community together with a fall themed event that included schoolwork, hands on activities, and other local traditions. Students performed science experiments with pumpkins, art projects based on nature, and demonstrations of farming techniques based on the area's farming history etc. People from the community and farmers gave students seeds, tools, and displays to help them see how farming, science, and everyday life are all connected.
