Hunt A+ Arts Elementary is putting on "Willy Wonka Kids" in March 2024. This is a return to big-school musicals and shows off the school's strong arts program.
Recently, the school took part in a district-wide STEM pilot project. Fifth graders built electric circuits and did hands-on science and engineering lessons. This is an example of how their curriculum is changing.
Q1. Why is Hunt Elementary an A+ Arts school?
Ans. Hunt uses music, drama, visual arts, and movement in everyday classroom learning to help students be more creative and do better in school.
Q2. Are there clubs or extra activities at Hunt Elementary after school?
Ans. Yes, students can join art clubs, music groups, theater programs, and academic enrichment groups, depending on their grade level.
Q3. What does the school do to help students who are having trouble with their schoolwork?
Ans. Hunt offers Title I reading and math help, intervention blocks, small-group lessons, and working with instructional coaches.
Q4. Can parents help out in the classroom or at events?
Ans. Yes, the school wants parents to get involved by giving them chances to volunteer, join the PTO, and go to arts-based events.
Q5. What kinds of technology do students have?
Ans. Students can use Chromebooks, digital learning tools, and interactive classroom technology to help them learn.Q
