Monte Sano Elementary School

Monte Sano Elementary School is one of the recognized Elementary Schools in Georgia with a history suffused with tradition, prestige, and quality of education. It opened in 1893 as, literally, a two-room primitive school. It became a full campus, but the history remains strong. While the school has welcomed many visitors - Governor Carl Sanders and the President Eisenhower were notable, Monte Sano values quality student achievement as much as participation in the community, district, and school. Monte Sano provides a variety of programs, including arts and music, and family involvement, to allow the students an incredible experience.
