A major recent highlight is a Read-a-Thon organized with Florida A&M University TRIO Program during National TRIO Day. College students and volunteers: Read books to children, Promoted Black history, self-confidence, and education values and Hosted a celebration recognizing student achievements. This initiative strengthened: Literacy skills, Mentorship and role-model exposure and Early inspiration toward higher education pathways. Astoria Park Elementary has been selected for the expansion of Head Start preschool programs in Leon County.

Ans. Teachers assist students in staying organized by providing structured schedules, teaching time management skills, and using planners to track assignments and deadlines.
