Starkey Elementary School’s annual Starkey Sprint fundraiser in 2026 surpassed its fundraising goal, which will help provide new playground equipment and classroom technology for students. The school was also recognised by the Pinellas County School Board for its lengthy history in the Seminole community as it nears its 50th anniversary. PRIDE Awards for achievement in subjects such as math, science, writing and social studies were also given to fifth-grade students during the school year.
