Durbin Creek Elementary School now showcases its successful “Excellence in Action” program, which emphasizes bringing the latest technology into daily literacy and math workshops. The campus recently celebrated the grand opening of its new and improved outdoor “Exploration Zone,” a place for students to participate in hands-on lessons in environmental science. The school’s parent-teacher organization also was honored for its record-setting fundraising efforts that will bring new interactive equipment to every classroom.
