A more recent event held at the school was celebrated during the National Reading Month of 2025 when the school organized an event called “Literacy Day”. This is a community-oriented event aimed at bringing volunteers who would come and read with the children and conduct various activities meant to promote reading among students. According to organizers, events like these are some of the things that have made an impact on the improved engagement and achievement levels of the learners.
