Littlewood Elementary School is situated in Gainesville, Florida, and is a successful school in the Alachua County Public Schools district, and after receiving a "B" grade for two consecutive years (2023-24 and 2024-25) from the Florida Department of Education. Littlewood recently underwent renovation and opened back up for students in August 2025 with a new and welcoming learning environment. Families in the community have affordable housing, with the average residential rents being in the $1,600-2,000 range. While Littlewood does not produce specific test scores for examination, the district has data from the school district that indicates they continue to grow in math and reading. Littlewood is perceived to be one of the top elementary schools in Florida for its balance of academics and community feel.
