This semester, Turie T. Small Elementary School is being recognized for having one of the highest daily student attendance rates in the Volusia County district. The school recently launched “Parent University,” a series of workshops designed to give families practical tools to help their children with literacy and numeracy skills at home. Also, the campus recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of its updated “Wellness Center” aimed at fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture for every student.
