Being Updated
Heritage Elementary has started an exciting new inclusion program this month: the Best Buddies program. During lunch, students learned about Best Buddies. Soon, the school will have monthly events to help all students make friends, be kind, and feel included.
As part of the program, kids of all abilities will be able to do things together like reading together, doing crafts, painting murals, gardening, and doing social-emotional activities. This will help them build empathy and real connections with other kids in the school.
