Forwood Elementary has a strong sense of community and a lot of people who are good at gardening. The school just got a big grant to make its gardening and outdoor learning areas better and bigger. With that help, students, teachers, families, and local volunteers worked together to build new garden beds, plant fruit trees near the playground, and make a sensory garden and seating areas outside. These are places where young Forwood "foxes" can learn, explore nature, and plant seeds for good habits.
