Silvermine's "swans" are getting a $1.2 million state grant to put in new air conditioning and improve the heating system. This is a big improvement that should be finished by fall 2025.
Q1. What is the dual-language program at Silvermine?
Ans. Silvermine has an English/Spanish immersion program where kids learn the basics in both languages. This helps them learn about other cultures and become bilingual.
Q2. What does the school do to help kids learn how to handle their emotions and get along with other people?
Ans. The PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) program helps kids be strong, responsible, and polite at school and elsewhere.
Q3. Do advanced learners have their own programs?
Ans. Yes, Silvermine has activities that help students who are doing better than their grade level, as well as differentiated instruction and project-based learning.

Ans. Parents make the community stronger by going to PTA meetings, cultural events, family workshops in two languages, and volunteering.
