In January 2025, Optimum (through DonorsChoose) gave Marvin Elementary a $20,000 grant for technology. The money is being used to buy computers, headphones, and other tech tools that will help students learn math, writing, and science by doing hands-on, critical thinking activities.

Ans. Yes, the school uses outdoor activities and garden-based learning to teach students about science, the environment, and how to be a good steward of the environment.
Q2. Do you have programs to help students who need extra help with learning?
Ans. Marvin Elementary offers special education services, individualized education plans (IEPs), and support staff to make sure that all of its students' learning needs are met.
Q3: How does the school honor different cultures?
Ans. Marvin holds multicultural events, heritage months, and assemblies that include everyone and show off the different cultures and histories of its students.
Q4. Does Marvin Elementary School want students to be leaders?
Ans. Yes, students can build confidence and responsibility by taking on leadership roles in the classroom, joining the student council, and being a peer mentor.
Q5. Do you work with local groups to offer enrichment programs?
Ans. Marvin works with community groups, libraries, and arts programs to provide extracurricular activities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), the arts, and reading and writing.
