Kendall Elementary School

Kendall Elementary School is a public K–5 neighborhood school in Norwalk, Connecticut, at 57 Fillow Street. It has about 508 students and a student–teacher ratio of about 15:1. The majority of the students at the school are Hispanic (over 64%), but there is a lot of racial and ethnic diversity. State assessment data shows that about 41% of students are good at math and 44% are good at English/language arts. Kendall helps gifted and talented students by working with a small group of advanced students and stressing fairness and community involvement. It is known as one of the best elementary schools in Norwalk and one of the best elementary schools in Norwalk.

The Norwalk Board of Education has officially named Jennifer Sweeters the new principal of Kendall Elementary, which is now called Kendall College & Career Academy.
