See top schools in HartfordWest Middle School is located at 44 Niles Street in Hartford within the Asylum Hill/West End area, a dense urban residential neighborhood. It serves students from grades PK-5 and enrolls approximately 306 students with a student-teacher ratio of 10:1. In math, 12% of students reached the proficient level or higher, while in reading, 17% achieved that level or above. The student population is made up of 50% female students and 50% male students. Parents frequently point out the staff who are full of care and the strong relationships, even though academics, as a reminder, have been a growth area. By its continuous enhancement efforts and community partnerships, West Middle School is on the way to becoming one of the best elementary schools in ????????????????Connecticut.
