Being Updated
On November 13, 2025, meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan visited Kennelly School to speak with 8th grade students. He led a discussion about science and weather, helping students connect classroom learning to real-world forecasting.
Q1. How does Kennelly School encourage positive behavior and respect?
Ans. Kennelly implements the "Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible" concept in conjunction with the "Be the Change" motto. Students engage in activities such as reading works on fairness and inclusion, which help them see that good behavior is closely linked to the values they have in their real life.
Q2. What kinds of after-school enrichment opportunities do Kennelly students have?
Ans. Kennelly provides an after-school program of enrichment that not only serves as a reward for students after class but also gives them a chance to embark on activities that they are less likely to come across during the regular school day.
Q3. How are sports and physical activities supported at Kennelly?
Ans. Students have an opportunity to engage in middle school athletics such as soccer and basketball that are available at Kennelly Bees, where the teams compete in city leagues and the students learn about teamwork and school spirit.
