Kara Casimiro, the superintendent, has signed a new three-year contract that will keep her in charge until 2028. Her goals are to improve student achievement, especially in elementary schools like Ellsworth Avenue, make schools a better place to be, and keep teachers on staff longer.

Ans. Yes, the school helps English Learners (ELs) and bilingual students who are learning English as a second language.

Ans. Parents can volunteer or come by at certain times, but they need to ask first and show ID for safety.

Ans. Limited supervision before school starts, just before the first bell. Families should call the main office to find out if there are any open slots.
