Cynthia Gallo is the new assistant principal at John Winthrop School. This will help the school have better leadership and get more involved in the community. Her appointment is in line with the state's ongoing support for Bridgeport Public Schools, where a technical-assistance team is working to improve how the district runs, how it manages its resources, and how it helps students and staff with their schoolwork.
Q1. What kinds of activities are available outside of school?
Ans: Art, music, leadership activities, and sports that happen in different seasons.
Q2: Is there care available after school?
Ans. Yes, there are some academic and enrichment programs available.
Q3. How do you help people learn English?
Ans. ESL classes, help in two languages, and small-group lessons.
Q4. Are parents allowed to go to school events?
Ans. Yes, through events, parent groups, and volunteer work.
Q5. Do you offer services for special education?
Yes. Yes, with plans and support services that are tailored to each person.
