Madison School was recently taken off Connecticut's list of schools that aren't doing well. This is because students' math and English skills have gotten better. Interim Superintendent Royce Avery said that the change showed that "real progress is happening in Bridgeport classrooms." The update shows that the school is still working to improve teaching and help students grow.
