Being Updated
The state is keeping a closer eye on Bridgeport Public Schools, which includes High Horizons Magnet School. The district has been given a technical assistance team to help them improve their hiring, budgeting, and overall accountability.
At the same time, the district is asking the state for an extra $57 million to fill in budget gaps and give more help to students in schools that need it the most. The goal of these steps is to improve the way the district works, give schools like High Horizons Magnet more resources, and make sure that students in Bridgeport do better in school and in their jobs.
