Woodrow Wilson Charter Academy in Westminster, Colorado, is a public charter school serving grades PK–8 that is dedicated to the long-term academic and social success of students. The school utilizes the Core Knowledge Sequence curriculum, enabling students to develop a strong background in language arts, science, and social studies. Though recent results officially showed 52% of students proficient in reading and 50% proficient in math, the school is consistently achieving a solid academic record. Middle schoolers are provided with laptops on a 1:1 basis as part of the school's emphasis on using technology in the classroom. Students engage in a number of projects which involve technology, including video production and the construction of websites, among others. With small class sizes, an active PTO, and a welcoming community, Woodrow Wilson Charter Academy is one of the top elementary schools in Colorado.
