Villa Bella Expeditionary Middle School, located at 2320 Rawlings Boulevard in Pueblo, Colorado, serves grades 6–8 as a public K-8 charter school authorized by Pueblo County School District 70. Founded in 2019, it employs the Expeditionary Learning (EL) model to deliver a project-based, deeply engaging curriculum that blends state standards with real-world learning expeditions. Within a tight-knit “Crew” culture, students develop character, collaborative skills, and academic independence while participating in fieldwork, case studies, and reflective advisory sessions. The school supports small cohorts, with roughly 100 middle schoolers and a student–teacher ratio around 20:1—ensuring personalized attention and strong relationships. Villa Bella empowers young adolescents to thrive as thoughtful leaders, creative thinkers, and active contributors to their community.
