In August 2025, Sunset Park Elementary was honored with the Colorado Department of Education’s Center of Excellence Award, recognizing its outstanding academic and leadership achievements within Pueblo School District 60.Additionally, the school hosted a vibrant Back-to-School Bash featuring performances, giveaways, and community celebration.
