Q1. What are the ages of the kids at Widefield Elementary?

A1. Widefield has kids in kindergarten through 5th grade, around the ages of 5 to 11. We generally prepare them for middle school.

Q2. Who runs the after school programs? Are they run by staff of Widefield or outside groups?

A2. They are a mixture! Some clubs are run by our teachers and some have people from our community that come in to teach some cool stuff for the kids after school.

Q3. What fun things can kids do at Widefield besides classwork?

A3. Kids can have the ability to play sports, do art, join music groups, or be in leadership clubs. It's a way for them to have new experiences.

Q4. How do you want parents to be involved at Widefield Elementary?

A4. We want families to be involved! Parents can join committees, help in classrooms, and we would love to see you all at events that we have during the year!

Q5. What does Widefield Elementary have within the building, or outside, for the kids to use?

A5. We have playgrounds, library, computer labs, gym, and rooms that we use for all kinds of activities to support the kids' social and emotional learning.
